EKU's New Science Building: Further Opportunities for CRAFT to Grow

A revolution in science education at EKU began this Fall (2011) when Phase I of the New Science Building welcomed the Departments of Chemistry and Physics & Astronomy. Supported by $1.2 million in federal funds for scientific equipment, the project promotes dynamic, collaborative, experience-based teaching.

EKU Energy Club

This fall EKU students have joined together to form the EKU Energy Club, a student organization dedicated to educating the campus community and the general public on wide variety of topics related to energy.  The club is a chapter of a state-wide Kentucky Energy Club which is modeled after the Energy Club at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
